Story
Events of Castlevania 64
Rosa would water the white roses at the Villa every day at the midst of dawn. One day, she encountered two travelers named Reinhardt Schneider and Carrie Fernandez in the rose garden. She wasn't surprised to see them because many adventures had come to the castle before in order to stop Dracula. She asked them to step aside so that she could take care of the roses. The two heroes asked what she was doing in such a place and she introduces herself and tipped her watering can, which contained blood instead of water. Rosa warned them that wandering around carelessly would soon cost them their lives. Reinhardt commented that he could never disobey his father's teachings to never attack the weak and Carrie pointed out that Rosa was somehow different from the creatures they had encountered before. The flower girl said that sentimentality would not help them and assured them that she would forget ever seeing them. The two heroes both gave their reasons why they couldn't leave, which the vampire understood. She explained how to proceed further to Dracula's Castle and directed them to the villa's archives. Before fading away, she told them that they needed to find a key which another adventurer took in order to enter the archives.
Rosa met up with a lone Reinhardt again while she attempted to kill herself by exposing her skin to a beam of sunlight. The vampire hunter rushed towards towards her and dragged her away while ignoring her pleas for him to stop. Rosa asked why he would help a vampire and Reinhardt answered that God always forbids suicide. The vampire lowered her head in sorrow and commented that even in death her soul could not find forgiveness. She concluded that she had to be killed instead, but Reinhardt refused. Rosa angrily asked why he couldn't do it and why he couldn't harm anything that had the shape of a woman or a child. Reinhardt went silent and the vampire said that he could never stand up to Dracula and then walked away.
They met once once more at the Castle Center and she warned him to leave the castle at once. Reinhardt responded that fleeing was not an option because sealing Dracula was his duty. The vampire was saddened by his resolve and was forced to attack him. She was eventually defeated and had fallen to her knees. She begged the vampire hunter to finish her, since she could no longer stand the agony of being a cursed soul. Reinhardt asked if Dracula's magic had made her a vampire, which was indeed true. Suddenly, Death landed between them. He remarked that Rosa's vampiric side would eventually deepen and take stronger hold. After saying that he was looking forward to his next encounter with the Vampire Hunter, he left and took Rosa with him.
While Death attempted to ambush Reinhardt at the Room of Clocks, Rosa quickly interfered. Just before Death was able to land a critical blow, she jumped in and embraced Reinhardt, suffering the blow instead of him. Rosa told him that his heart was pure and asked him to kill the Count. As long as he existed, the horror would continue and she didn't want anyone else to suffer her fate. She was on the brink of death, and after Reinhardt said a prayer that cleansed her of her sins committed during her life as a vampire, she passed on.
Though, it did not end for her. Because Reinhardt and Carrie vanquished Dracula, the Vampire Lord, her soul escaped from his influence. She was reborn into the world and her return was marked by roses falling from the sky. She embraced Reinhardt and he told her that his struggle was endless as long as their was evil in man's heart. However, faith would give them the strength to fight against despair. They returned to Rosa's village where she could meet up with her family and begin a life anew.
