What drew you to Castlevania? What made you become a big fan of it?

My first introduction to Castlevania was Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, which I played when I was very young. That game, along with Super Castlevania IV, have what I believe to the be the perfect atmosphere for the series. As for the series itself, I've always been attracted to the consistently great atmosphere and game play.

Around what year did you become a big Castlevania fan?

I've always liked the Castlevania games, but it wasn't until recently that I became a really huge fan. Mid-2000's, I think. It was around the time of the DS and 3D games. That was a very fond time for me.

When and how did you discover the Chapel of Resonance, and what made you want to keep coming back to it?

I initially discovered it while searching for the Castlevania timeline. I rediscovered the site when I followed a link through the Successor's signature at another video game forum. Since then, I've been hooked.

What made you want to write for the Chapel of Resonance?

As a fan of the series, I felt I ought to do what I could to help other fans. So, I took up writing guides and strategies. I also help when I can around the forum, wiki, and Youtube channel.

What are your top 5 favorite Castlevania games in order?

Super Castlevania IV

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow

Castlevania Chronicles

Castlevania

Castlevania Bloodlines

Do you have any hobbies outside of video gaming?

I build scale-model military aircraft. I used to also collect Aeroflot (Russian airline) merchandise for like a month. That didn't go anywhere. I also collect some anime and video game figures.

What other video games or video game series do you enjoy besides Castlevania?

Thanks to forum member Nightmare, I was introduced to God Hand, which is an excellent title that I recommend to every living soul. Speaking of beat 'em ups, I also really like the Streets of Rage series. I'm a huge fan of the God of War, Ace Combat, and Ace Attorney games, as well as the Metal Gear Solid, Contra, and Silent Hill titles.
