Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance Whip Attachments

Crushing Stone

This add-on allows Juste to destroy barriers that block his path, by taking some time to charge the whip up, and then releasing a concentrated, dynamic attack. The charged strike can also be used to deliver devastating blows to enemies. The downside to this is that having this equipped lowers Juste's strength statistic by 5, and prevents him from brandishing the whip. Pick this up in Castle B's Clock Tower.

Steel Tip

Juste can put a big, stupid looking steel ball at the end of the Vampire Killer. This boosts his strength by 10, and most likely adds a lot of weight to the whip. This can be found in the Castle Top Floor just beyond the Minotaur's hall in Castle B.

Platinum Tip

Juste can find a platinum attachment for his whip in the Entrance of Castle A. Fortunately or unfortunately, this doesn't look as comical as his Steel Tip while equipped. This raises his strength by 20.

Energy Circle

With this neat little attachment Juste can execute Nathan's clever twirling whip maneuver. This is located in Castle A's Shrine of the Apostates. It's funny how the in-game information for the last three whip upgrades rhymes.

Bullet Tip

Once outfitted, Juste can fire pellets from his whip when he's at full health, just like his great something-or-other, Christopher Belmont. This attachment is really fun to use for novelty's sake, but other than that, the shots are very weak. But hey, it advances Juste's strength by 5. Grab this in Skeleton Cave within Castle B. An interesting note about this is that when Harmony of Dissonance was translated from Japanese to English, the name of this upgrade was changed from Christopher's Soul to Bullet Tip. Bah!

Red Stone

This mystical rock gives the Vampire Killer a fire attribute, which makes it more effective against certain foes. It would have been neat if it made Vampire Killer a flame whip, especially since the game's story is based off of Castlevania II: Simon's Quest. This increases Juste's strength by 2, and it can be found in Castle A's Marble Corridor.

Blue Stone

This magic stone adds the ice element to the Vampire Killer. This is found in the Aqueduct of Dragons in Castle A. Coincidently, it's very efficient in battles against the waterway's sodden denizens. When equipped, Juste gets a strength boost by 2.

Yellow Stone

Juste can electrify his opponents by fastening this golden stone to the end of the Vampire Killer. This is located in an alcove within Luminous Cavern in Castle B. This also augments Juste's strength by 2.

Green Stone

This jade rock gives Vampire Killer a wind characteristic. It jacks Juste strength up by 2, and rests within Castle A's Clock Tower.
