Castlevania: The Adventure

astlevania: The Adventure is the first Gameboy Castlevania game, released in late 1989, and known as Dracula Legend in Japan (or, alternatively, Legend of Dracula). It is one of the earliest Gameboy titles and continues the linear stage based gameplay of Castlevania, but adds differences to the usual formula.

Castlevania: The Adventure was remade for the Gameboy Color and released in Europe as a part of Konami GB Collection Vol. 1. The sound was slightly remastered for this version, and it controls a bit quicker. In 2005, Castlevania: The Adventure received a comic book adaptation by IDW Publishing entitled Castlevania: The Belmont Legacy.
