Whips
Leather Whip

This is a short range and weak whip. It is the default weapon for Trevor Belmont. Whenever you lose a life, Trevor will begin with this whip, even if it was upgraded before losing the life.
Chain Whip

This is a stronger version of the whip. It is gained by upgrading with a Morning Star pick up. It has the same length as the leather whip, but its strength is drastically increased.
Morning Star Whip

This is as strong as the Vampire Killer whip will get. It has the same strength as the Chain Whip, but its length is greatly increased, making for the most effective version of the whip.
Sub-Weapons
Dagger

At the cost of one heart, Trevor and Grant can throw these daggers swiftly in a straight line. What it lacks in power it makes up for in speed, but they take precision to use effectively.
Holy Water

Trevor can use these vials to unleash a holy flame that will trap and incinerate enemies, banishing them back to the darkness from whence they came.
Axe

The axe is available to both Trevor and Grant. This useful sub-weapon is thrown in a wide arc. It comes in handy for attacking foes that have the high ground, or aerial menaces.
Stopwatch

One of the best things about the stop watch is that all characters can use it. Invoking the power of this tool will stop enemy movement for a short period of time. It is useful for getting past areas where bats or other enemies may knock you off moving platforms. Using this sub-weapon costs five hearts.
Cross Boomerang

A very useful tool, the Cross Boomerang will travel for the entire length of the screen, and return back to the sender afterwards, striking whichever enemies come into contact with it during its flight.
Fire Book

This book will grant Sypha a flame spell, which she shoots a short distance forward, but it packs a punch.
Ice Book

This book contains incantations for ice spells. Sypha can release a spread of mist around her to freeze opponents. Once frozen, they'll shatter to pieces when struck with her Warakiya Staff.
Lightning Book

This is the most powerful of Sypha's spells. With this, she can generate three electrified orbs that home in on enemies for massive damage.
Power-Ups & Treasures
Morning Star

This will power up Trevor and Alucard's primary attack. It can appear in candles or from killed enemies after collecting five or more hearts. It will appear again for one more power up after collecting eight hearts or more.
Heart

These are ammunition for sub-weapons. They can be found in candles and dropped by downed enemies.
Big Heart

These will raise heart stock by five. They are found in candles, enemies, and breakable walls.
Double Shot

This block-like item will allow you to throw a sub-weapon two times in quick succession. Found in candles, enemies, and walls.
Triple Shot

This acts like the Double Shot, except sub-weapons can be used three times in quick succession. You can find these in candles and enemies, but you must already have a Double Shot.
Pot Roast

Always a welcome sight! This meat will restore life energy. They're hidden within walls.
Invisibility Potion

Drinking this concoction will cause one to become invincible for a short period of time. It's always a joy to find one of these. They are obtained from candles and enemies.
Rosary

This will destroy all on screen enemies with a holy flash. They're found in candles and enemies.
1-Up

A rare item. These will add one life to your stock. They are well hidden in walls and candles.
Money Bags



This will add to your point total. They're in candles, enemies, and walls.
