Castlevania: Circle of the Moon Glitches and Tricks

few of the glitches found in Circle of the Moon are chronicled here. You won't need a Gameshark or anything of the sort to perform these.
Wall Glitch
In the Underground Warehouse, there is a certain hallway that is occupied by Grizzlies and Beast Demons. At the end of the corridor, if you jump towards the wall protruding above the door, Nathan will go all the way through it.
This is the location where the glitch can be executed. Nathan isn't visible in the screenshot because he's off screen, in what would appear to be the room's ceiling. Just jump towards the part of the wall that is to the right of that torch to do this.

You can even go walking around the room while off screen. Other than fleeting amusement, there's no real point to this, because the effects are frequently unfavorable. If you do this glitch, there's a good chance that Nathan will be stuck in the ceiling.

DSS Glitch
This is the game's most handy glitch. All that you'll need for this are two DSS cards, one being an action card, and the other an attribute card. Activate a DSS combination, then hit start and go to your DSS menu screen directly afterwards. Once there, select a combination that isn't available to you, and you will be able to use the unavailable combination once you exit the pause screen.
As you can see here, all that I have in my DSS inventory are the Mercury and Salamander cards, right?

So, I activate those two cards, and while Nathan is striking his DSS activation pose...

...I go back to my DSS menu and select... oh, why don't we try Pluto and Black Dog, the two vacant spots at the very end of the row?

And voila! We get the Pluto and Black Dog effect (becoming a fragile skeleton) without even having the cards. With this knowledge, you can become a cheap skate and use any DSS combination there is, while only having one card of each type.
