I'm a relatively new Castlevania fan. My first CV was Portrait of Ruin, and since then I've gone through the Nintendo DS trilogy, Aria of Sorrow, Symphony of the Night, Super Castlevania 4, and Lords of Shadow. I liked all of them in their own way.

Thinking about doing a video commentary a la AVGN on my take on Castlevania fan as someone who played the newest games first, and then checked out the classics.

Greetings, MelancholySpork!

I hear you about being new to the CV scene, since Aria was my first. Interesting to see how the series has evolved from one style to another, isn't it? It's awfully open-minded of you to have played so many of the games and like each of them for what they are because there are a few titles in the series that no matter how many times I give a try, I just can't enjoy them.

May your experience here be a welcoming and positive one. :)

Hey there!

I'd be interesting in seeing your commentary. It'll be interesting to see how the old games hold up to someone who got into the series through the newer games.

Heheh, just out of curiosity, what games are these, Petal?

Vampire Killer, Simon's Quest, and the KCEK games--primarily Circle of the Moon and Legends.

Nitpicking, but I thought it was KCEN who made Legends. They also did the Saturn port for NiTM too.
KCEK isn't that terrible.

And hi.

Legends is KCEN, like the Saturn port of Symphony. And they're a whole another can of worms, even next to KCEK, who were just aggressively banal at worst.

damn u thernz

It's like there's a collective consciousness controlling the both of us.
