Good points one and all, though I really got to say, I never had trouble with the platforming or the camera in LoD, and I had a lot of fun playing it. I'm never going to convince anyone it was good, but for my money easily one of the most underrated games ever made.
The N64 titles Talk about how underrated they are

I used to think I was girly then I realised I'm just a Jo-Jo's character

I didn't have as much problems as is usually documented among players, either, but I certainly took notice of the janky way everything functioned. The end result was that it was more about me bearing with the controls than fully being in control. Like fighting a battle against something that shouldn't even be an issue. I've heard a lot of varying accounts on this, though, so evidently it manifests differently. For example, the much-bemoaned volatile Nitro-carrying segment never caused me any problems. Precision wasn't so much a problem as fast-paced sections.

I've never actually played either of the games properly, but I do give them mad props for being some of the most different Castlevania titles without being alien to the series. They provided a nice clash in regards to SotN, and that's something that we've not really experienced since.
