So I've been following this fan game since sometime in the middle of summer. Needless to say, despite some questionable design decisions (i.e. coding this whole thing in flash), it's a pretty ambitious project that shows a lot of promise. :D

The basic summary is that this is a Metroidvania Mega Man X game, complete with open world exploration, and RPG elements all wrapped up in familiar X series conventions. The guy's YouTube page does a better job of outlining what to expect, and there's a bunch of other gameplay videos too. Their composer, NitroFlasher, makes some pretty authentic stuff, so the soundtrack will be entirely original as well. xD

Suffice it to say, I'm interested in this. Thoughts? :]

The game's bad, by the way."

Wow, this looks spiffy. I just recently played through the MegaMan X Collection so I can jump right into this. But it is kinda odd how it is programmed entirely in Flash.. oh well.

I'll be following this, since Capcom refuses to make X9.

I've never been much interested in Mega Man games but I'll try them out once in awhile. This looks like a pretty authentic game and you can hack enemies to make them come over to your side? Was that what the game features? Very interesting. I'm particularly impressed that they coded everything in Flash--not entirely stable but at least many browsers will be able to play it, which means a large audience.
