The Successor

egarded as a redeemer for Castlevania's presence on the internet and an authentic visionary, The Successor has constructed what is the most ambitious Castlevania website to date, and has been very influential in making Castlevania sites fun once again. Rather than approaching "popular" members of the online Castlevania community for assistance, the young Webmaster preferred what were at the time relative unknowns and assembled a team with incredible, wide-ranging talent and character. Instead of attempting to emulate larger or older Castlevania sites, The Successor chooses to follow his own unique way.

As the creative and calculating Webmaster of the Chapel of Resonance, he is very well rounded, and specializes in web design, writing reviews and strategies, collecting other instructive information about Castlevania, ripping, and other things. He makes sure that the Chapel excels in absolutely every area.

Upon building a strong, faithful following and causing much thrill, motivation, and inspiration among Castlevania fans, he is only bolstered to continue on his distinctive path.

Diplocephalus

Zealous, hotheaded, straight talking, comical, and uproarious, Diplocephalus adds an exclusive personality to the Chapel that absolutely no one else could. Being the first to join The Successor, Diplo is his most trusted lieutenant, and shares the same conviction of breathing a much-needed breath of fresh air into Castlevania on the internet, perhaps even more so. The Successor has full assurance in Diplo, not only because of his ability, but also because of his raw enthusiasm and determination.

Together, Diplo and The Successor have proven themselves to be an extremely formidable writing duo, and have raised the bar to a near unbelievable level. As a writer, the dues have been paid tremendously so for Diplo, as his stirring Marble Gallery attests. Breaking convention and rousing fans around the world, the Marble Gallery is perhaps one of the most profound things to be found on the internet regarding Castlevania.

A true master of the genre of analytical writing, and one of the community's foremost artists (as seen in the Chapel's trademark haunted picture frame), Diplo's offerings to the Chapel are whole hearted, as is his love for the Castlevania series.

Serio

Quickly building a name as the community's leading ripper, Serio is exceedingly skilled at his craft. On first encounter, The Successor realized this, and the two have been working together for quite some time. Generous and humble, Serio is well liked by all he meets.

As an active participant in the homebrew scene, Serio's talents are broad. His primary duties at the Chapel of Resonance involve ripping. From screenshot maps, to sprites, to movies, music, and beyond, Serio rips it all, giving the Chapel valuable unique content.

Serio also has control over some of the Chapel's multimedia and emulation. Like the Successor, he is able to upload files onto the server for others to download. In addition, he is an accomplished glitcher, and helps with finding bugs for the glitching sections.

Time and again, Serio has demonstrated his worth and standing as an essential component of the Chapel of Resonance.

Raven

Courteous and tranquil, this figure adds another shade of character to the website. Raven is the first staff member to join up after the site was launched. Upon being referred by a friend, Raven noticed that the Chapel was seeking a translator. Being impressed with the website, and fluent in both Japanese and English, Raven volunteered to lend assistance, and eventually found a new home at the Chapel of Resonance.

As the website's translator, this trusted staff member decodes Japanese into English and vice versa, and is always open for requests if fans would like something pertaining to Castlevania deciphered. Simply drop an e-mail about what you'd like translated, and you may even see it up on the website!

Alis Landale

Alis Landale has been a fan of the Chapel of Resonance for some time. She'd eagerly look forward to the content put forth by the team. From the trademark writing styles of Diplocephalus and The Successor, to the sometimes bizarre, yet charming translations of Raven, the content affected her like no other Castlevania site had.

When she noticed the Chapel looking to add to their ranks with a forum moderator, she was one of the first to appeal for the job. The Successor settled on Alis and soon came to know her as trustworthy, steadfast, and reasonable - the perfect person for the job!

Alis oversees and attends to the Anti-Chapel Forum, ensuring that it is a peaceful, welcoming place for all comers who are willing to be peaceful and welcoming themselves. Her kindness, enthusiasm, decision-making ability, and evenhandedness make her an invaluable member of the group, and a choice that the team knows they can depend on.

Senile Snake

Senile Snake's relationship with the Chapel of Resonance began through his friend, Serio, the Chapel's ripper and savvy tech master.
Snake really liked the site, but was bothered by one thing – the Chapel's trademark Flash banner. The idea was genius, but the execution left something to be desired. Serio and Snake teamed up to greatly improve the unwavering symbol of the Chapel of Resonance.

When The Successor saw the end result, he was astounded. He wasn't the greatest at Flash, but had plenty of ideas for animations. A while later, the impressed webmaster got back in touch with Snake and mentioned working at the Chapel as the go-to for Flash animations, which he accepted.

Enthusiastic, and always willing to help out, Snake is an expert at Flash, and comes through with plenty of creative and fun animations for the site. Usually given instructions by The Successor, and then assisted by Serio with ideas, the three of them work together to come up with fun and innovative decorations and interactive animations for the Chapel of Resonance.

Peklo

Because Diplocephalus primarily stuck to reviews and opinionated articles, The Successor was the only writer at the Chapel of Resonance handling general game information. His goal was to cover every single Castlevania game with an amount of care and detail that wasn't found elsewhere. With a desire for top quality content and consistency, the only person The Successor depended on was his partner, Serio, who offered rips and glitch information.

Peklo, a passionate fan of Castlevania and Chapel of Resonance, sent The Successor a reader article to be posted in the site's Fan Area. The Webmaster was surprised at how much it reminded him of his own work for the game sections, and his knack for pinpointing talent told him Peklo had far too much potential to be passed by. The burgeoning writer needed only a steady outlet to showcase himself and his love for Castlevania.

The Successor offered Peklo a position at the Chapel of Resonance to help with writing sections for the older games in the series. Coincidentally, Peklo had once thought of applying for a spot as a staff member.

Peklo readily joined. While The Successor continues working on content about the newer Castlevania installments and for other areas of the site, Peklo concentrates on the aged games, and gives his full ability to the Chapel.

DarkmaneTheWerewolf

When the Anti-Chapel forum opened its doors, DarkmaneTheWerewolf was a quiet lurker. After studying the forum, she was ultimately drawn in and joined. She quickly became attached to the community, becoming friends with its members, and showcasing her artwork there.

When the Chapel got the idea to start their own Youtube Channel, The Successor knew he had to get someone that was not only capable of managing it, but someone he could consistently depend on. Someone dedicated, disciplined, and responsible. Almost instantly, the young Webmaster thought of Darkmane.

Shy and unassuming, Darkmane was a bit surprised when she was asked to take over the Channel. Regardless, she managed the Channel diligently, without even being a part of the core Staff.

Her devotion shined, and everyone knew Darkmane was fit to be a part of the Chapel Team. Quiet, and with a unique silliness, Darkmane continues to manage the Chapel's Youtube Channel with a genuine desire to make it the best it can be.

Beingthehero

Beingthehero is an incredibly loyal and dedicated Staff Member that approaches his work with great eagerness. When the Staff was willing to take on more writers for the Video Game section of the site, they were confident that Hero knew what they were looking for and could deliver. Their hunch proved true.

Hero is a fast and reliable worker that delivers rich content about the Castlevania video games, dissecting them as best he can and reporting. With him on the team, the pace and effectiveness of the Chapel has greatly risen.

Often working side by side with The Successor, Hero gives his full effort toward providing written content about the various Castlevania games. When not doing that, he moonlights as an assistant for Chapel Moderator, Alis Landale, or supports Darkmane with the Chapel Youtube Channel.
